Phoenix Suns head coach Earl Watson shares strong statement following shooting death of police officer

A Kansas City, Kansas police officer was killed on Tuesday while pursuing suspects in a drive-by shooting. Captain Robert Melton is the 31st law enforcement officer to have been shot to death on duty in 2016, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page. Kansas City Mayor Mark Holland shared the following statement today.
