The Madhouse - Summer League is Over

Summer League is over and I think the kids are all right.  I would have liked to see more of Marquese Chriss in action, but I'll gladly take illness over injury.  Tyler Ulis looks like a great bench acquisition.  Dragan Bender appears to have several different tools in his kit and just needs to figure out how to get them all working at the same time.  Alan Williams and Troy Williams are at best marginal NBA talents, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them inside the margins instead of outside of them.

Also:

• The Republican National Convention is in full swing in Cleveland. We generally don't invited political conversations here, but it IS big news this week.
• The Ghostbusters reboot opened and the world did not end.  It made over $40M but that wasn't enough to unseat The Secret Life of Pets which is on pace to make all of the money in the world.
• Kim Kardashian made life miserable for Taylor Swift who was trying to make life miserable for Kanye West.
• People keep killing people and it's all over the news.  Be good to yourself and others.
