The Madhouse: Free Agency & More - Week of 7/4/2016

Well, Suns fans, the future is now.  With Kevin Durant signing with the Golden State Warriors, the Western Conference appears to be closed to contenders for the near future.  Which is fine, because the Phoenix Suns are clearly taking a long view of their redevelopment into a contender.  Want to talk about that future or free agency's present?  Here's your space!

Also happening:

• Finding Dory, The Legend of Tarzan and The Purge: Election Year combined this weekend to make considerably less than Mike Conley.  Maybe he's playing at a theater near you?
• Joey Chestnut ate 70 hot dogs to win the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest at Coney Island this year.  I'm not sure I've eaten 70 hot dogs in the last five years.  Also, Mike Conley could spend a million dollars per Joey Chestnut hot dog and still have half his contract left to spend on hot dogs.
• Venus Williams looks to become the oldest women's finalist at Wimbledon since Martina Navritalova in 1994.  I can't figure out how to work a Mike Conley contract joke in here, but know that he is making an absurd amount of money.
