Devin Booker was by far the best player on the court today in the Suns first Summer League win, 86-73, over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Booker had 28 points on 11-21 shooting, plus 8 rebounds and 6 assists, including a lot of trash talk against the poor souls trying to defend him. Any concerns over Booker having a sophomore slump can be squelched right now.
Alan Williams was a beast, with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Dude needs a roster spot.
We also got to hear from Dragan Bender, whose smooth game looked better on the court than in the box score: 12 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals and one assist.
And finally we get Tyler Ulis, who didn't even handle the ball a whole lot today but still put up a very impressive line of 11 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals against only one turnover.
Sorry if you can't hear anything on these videos. Another game was going on just a few feet away.
Tomorrow, we will likely get a lot better sound because they will be in the bigger arena with more separation between the interview area and the floor.
