February 2nd of of this year was a bummer for many Phoenix Suns fans. On that day, T.J. Warren was officially ruled out for the remainder of the season, felled by a broken foot.
On Wednesday, Warren took to Twitter to share some good news with fans of the purple and orange.
Basketball free! Cleared
— TJ Warren (@TonyWarrenJr) September 15, 2016
It took less than 5 minutes for Boston Celtics point guard, and Warren’s former teammate in Phoenix, Isaiah Thomas to call out the Suns small forward.
@TonyWarrenJr cleared to get cooked by me

Warren cooked up a fantastic response:
@Isaiah_Thomas you woulda been good rehab bait

It was Thomas who got the final word in on Wednesday night:
@TonyWarrenJr I won't tell the world what I use to do to you in practice lol

Warren’s back and that’s great news for Suns fans. These two will have the opportunity to bring their social media war of words to the hardwood when Suns welcome the Celtics to Talking Stick Resort Arena on March 5th. Phoenix will make the trip to Boston for a March 24th meeting at the TD Garden.
