Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker, who spent a season at Kentucky before being selected 13th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, wasn’t too fond of the new threads.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Suns guard was not alone in his distaste for the new Wildcat look. Trey Lyles of the Utah Jazz, who also left Kentucky after one season and was selected a pick before Booker in the 2015 Draft, voiced his opinion on social media.

Maybe the checkered pattern is a tribute to Kentucky’s past legacy of having coaches on the sideline like Adolph Rupp and Eddie Sutton. Who knows? What do you think of the new gear?
