History will be made in January, when your Phoenix Suns travel to Mexico City to play a pair of games against Western Conference rivals. The NBA Global Games in Mexico City will feature the Suns against the Dallas Mavericks on January 12th. Two days later, Phoenix matches up with the San Antonio Spurs.
Wednesday, Alan Williams was in Mexico City to play the role of Phoenix Suns ambassador during NBA Mexico’s 25th anniversary celebration.

Williams is the right man for the job. He responded to reporters in Spanish, which he learned growing up in Phoenix.
"As I said, sport can bring together many people, and I am proud to be here playing in Mexico. [The games] represent that there are many fans of our team in Mexico and there is a good relationship with the Suns and the NBA in Mexico."
Tickets are now on sale for fans interested in attending January’s contests in Mexico. If you want to attend both games it will run you 400 pesos. Single game tickets are 270 pesos. I will not be doing the math for you.
