For the third straight season, the Friday night event will feature “U.S.” vs. “World” rosters. This will be the 23rd installment of the game, which was introduced at the 1994 NBA All-Star Weekend as the “Rookie Challenge.”
Booker participated in last season’s event, serving as a replacement for the injured Nerlens Noel. He scored 23 points in 18 minutes in a 157-154 win.
The BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans is scheduled for 9pm ET. Need more coverage? BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge practice is actually a thing, and it can be viewed on NBA TV at 10:30am.
