The Phoenix Suns announced on Friday that they have parted ways with guard John Jenkins.

He was in Phoenix for 26 games across this season and last. He averaged 4.5 points while with the Suns. Phoenix picked up his contract after he was waived by the Dallas Mavericks in February of last year. He’s in the second year of that three year deal. The final two years are not guaranteed.
The Tennessee product spent the first three seasons of his NBA career with the Atlanta Hawks.
