Both players are likely headed to the Northern Arizona Suns, the Phoenix G League affiliate.
The Suns took a shot on Bennett after Alan Williams was lost for the season. Now 24, the former number one pick out of UNLV is with his fifth NBA organization since being drafted in 2013.
Peter Jok went undrafted in June after a spectacular four-year career at the University of Iowa. He played his NBA Summer League ball with the New Orleans Pelicans before he was signed by the Suns on September 22nd.
Wednesday’s news means the Phoenix roster now includes 18 names. The Suns are back in preseason action tonight when they host the Portland Trail Blazers. The two will meet again for the Suns’ regular season opener at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Wednesday, October 18th.
