Rest easy, Phoenix Suns fans. Deep breaths. Devin Booker is going to be ok.

A sore knee kept Booker out of Wednesday night’s 113-104 preseason loss against the Portland Trail Blazers. A day later he was back on the practice floor, and the expectation is that he’ll be prepared to play against the Brisbane Bullets of Australia’s National Basketball League on Friday.

Less promising is the status of T.J. Warren. A back contusion has sidelined the fourth-year forward for the last two preseason games. He participated sparingly in Thursday’s practice and head coach Earl Watson stated that he’s unsure if Warren will see action when the team faces Brisbane.

Friday is Phoenix’s fifth and final preseason matchup. After that, the games count. The Suns will tip off their 2017-18 campaign on Wednesday, October 18th when they host the Trail Blazers at Talking Stick Resort Arena. Game time is slated for 7p ET.
