While in a reclamation project of their own currently with 2013 No. 1 pick Anthony Bennett, Phoenix seems ready to take on another boom-or-bust investment.
The Suns sent out a team release on Friday announcing the signing of Tidjan Keita. Keita, who at 6-foot-10 has a 7-foot-3 wingspan, is considered one of the rawest prospects on the market.
On May 29, Phoenix worked out Keita in a pre-draft workout before he ultimately went undrafted in June. Keita participated with the Toronto Raptors at Las Vegas Summer League.
Keita will play and further develop with the NAZ Suns this season, according to a team source. The 20-year-old prospect from France now joins Bennett and Peter Jok in Prescott Valley.
