The G League affiliates of the Phoenix Suns and Minnesota Timberwolves announced a trade on Friday. The Northern Arizona Suns will part with Elijah Millsap, Michael Bryson and the #8 overall pick in the 2017 NBA G League Draft. The Iowa Wolves will send to the Suns the returning rights to Zach Andrews and the #1 overall draft pick.

Millsap has spent five seasons in the G League and was named an All-Star in 2012. He has 69 NBA games on his resume, 67 of those with the Utah Jazz and two last season with the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns drafted Bryson #8 overall in last year’s G League draft. He appeared in 46 games and averaged 5.1 points and 2.4 rebounds for NAZ.

The 2017 NBA G League Draft will be held Saturday, October 21st. Along with the top overall pick, the Suns hold the #6 and #11 picks in the first round. The event is set to begin at 1pm ET.
