The Eric Bledsoe era in Phoenix officially came to an end yesterday, a couple of weeks after it basically came to an end. The trade is done, and Bledsoe’s a Buck. The return was Greg Monroe and a pair of draft picks.

Emotions from Suns fans ranged from nonplussed to aggressively disappointed. That reaction is certainly surprising from a fan base that celebrated re-signing general manager Ryan McDonough this summer for his fine work on the........I forgot where I was going with that.

In late October McDonough made it clear that he was in no hurry to move Bledsoe.

“We are open to doing a deal whenever the best offer presents itself.”
