Alex Len suspended

That means zero minutes tonight.

NBA: Phoenix Suns at Memphis Grizzlies Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

Sure to disappoint Phoenix fans who wanted to see an increase in minutes for Alex Len, the Suns big man has been suspended for tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls.

Len received the one-game ban for leaving the bench during a fourth quarter altercation against the Memphis Grizzlies on February 8th. Let’s watch:

Personally, I think we got hosed on that call. In addition to Len’s suspension, teammates Tyler Ulis and Marquese Chriss and Grizzlies guard Troy Daniels have each been fined $15,000. Daniels can probably scrape together that dough, he’s played for five teams in three years.

The Suns and Bulls tip off from Phoenix at 7:30pm PT.
