The Phoenix Suns were dismantled by the Houston Rockets on Saturday. Truly destroyed. Bad for even the Phoenix Suns. Tyler Ulis got some good run though.
The 21 year-old rookie logged the most minutes of the young career, in fact he was on the court more than any Suns guard. Ulis scored a career high 13 points and dished out six assists in just under 28 minutes against the Rockets. Let’s watch.
Eric Bledsoe was absent from the Houston game. The previous career high in minutes for Ulis was 21:34 in a road matchup with Philadelphia on November 19th. Those are the only two games this season where he’s logged more than 18 minutes. He averages 9.1 on the year.
With the February 23rd trade deadline looming and Phoenix currently holding the worst record in the Western Conference at 17-38, how much court time should Ulis see between now and the end of the NBA regular season?
Suns host the New Orleans Pelicans tonight. Tip is scheduled for 6p where I live.
