Eric Bledsoe got the night off on Saturday when the Phoenix Suns traveled to Houston for a road matchup with the Rockets. It was his first night off this season. Phoenix was destroyed 133-102 in a game not nearly as close as the score indicated.
Monday night brought another loss for the struggling Suns, this time against the New Orleans Pelicans, but Bledsoe’s return was something to witness. The NBA’s most underrated player poured in 37 points, the 11th time this season he’s topped the 30 point plateau. Let’s watch.
That Eric Bledsoe is pretty good, and he’s fun to watch. While we continue to repeat in our head that “lose=high pick=return to relevancy” until it makes sense, let’s enjoy what Bledsoe is doing. Next up is the Lakers on Wednesday night. The last time Phoenix and Los Angeles met, Bledsoe went for 30 points and 9 assists in 32 minutes.
Sounds like a reason to watch.
