We already know that forward Marquese Chriss, the Rookie of the Month in the Western Conference for January, and second-year guard Devin Booker will represent the Suns on All-Star Weekend later this month in the Rising Stars Challenge.
Today, we find out that rookie Derrick Jones Jr. will join his teammates in New Orleans as he competes in the Slam Dunk Contest!

Booker also adds the Skills Challenge to his weekend agenda. He joins former Suns guard Isaiah Thomas in the field, and will compete in the same competition at the same location (NOLA) as former Suns guard Goran Dragic in 2014.

Booker is NOT in this year’s three point contest, but I suppose the Skills Challenge is pretty good!
