VIDEO: Top 5 Devin Booker moments of this season

I don’t know if you’ve read this anywhere, but he’s only 20 years old.

If you’re even a casual fan of the Phoenix Suns, you already know about all of these. Any NBA fan unfamiliar with the spectacular things Devin Booker can do were certainly awakened after last week’s 70 point eruption against the Boston Celtics. Here are five of his top moments this season. What’s your favorite?

5. The most gentlemanly ejection ever

This season has been one of many milestones for Devin Booker in his brief NBA career. Including collecting his first career ejection.

Booker picked up his second technical foul with 17.8 seconds remaining in a 120-104 loss to the Denver Nuggets on November 16th.

While leaving the court he took the time to bid farewell to his teammates on the bench, offer the officials a thumbs up, and even stop to sign an autograph. Asked after the game about this bizarre show of sportsmanship Booker said, “That’s how I was raised.”

4. Booker silences MSG

The Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks were a combined 22 games under .500 when they met in Madison Square Garden on January 21st. That’s hardly appointment television.

There were several notable individual performances, though. Tyson Chandler logged his 7th straight game with at least 15 boards, Eric Bledsoe went for 23 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds, and Marquese Chriss chipped in 15 points.

In the final minute it was Devin Booker who put the exclamation point on the night.

3. Devin downs Dallas

This seems like it happened a long time ago. It was 17 days ago that Phoenix met Dallas, and it was the last time the Suns changed the number in the “W” column.

Booker led all scorers with 36 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter, and eight in the final 1:40. Phoenix ran with its youngest starting five in team history that night, a record that would be rewritten 12 days later when they started the youngest lineup in NBA history.

At 20 years old, Booker looked like the savviest of savvy veterans when he drilled a 19 footer to send Mavericks fans hope unhappy.

2. Booker calls bank

This was the first of Devin Booker’s buzzer-beaters on the season, and it was the only Phoenix Suns win in a nine game stretch from January 24th to February 8th.

A game in which DeMarcus Cousins logs his sixth career triple-double should make headlines. It didn’t.

Booker led all scorers with 33 points, including this beauty off the glass as time expired.

1. Seventy

There are eight games remaining in the Phoenix Suns 2016-17 campaign, what would you like to see from Devin Booker the rest of the way?
