Suns to keep Jarell Eddie around for another 10 days

And he should get all the minutes.

NBA: Washington Wizards at Toronto Raptors Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

Jarell Eddie is getting some more run with the Phoenix Suns before the season’s over.

Tuesday the team announced that they signed Eddie to a second 10-day contract.

The contract will keep Eddie with the Suns until April 8th. That covers all but two games remaining on the schedule. The Suns will host the Dallas Mavericks on April 9th before closing out the season at Sacramento two days later.

Eddie was waived by Washington in October of last year. He appeared in 26 games with the Wizards during the 2015-16 season.

We’re at the height of tank season. The Phoenix roster continues to be trimmed down due to real or imagined injuries. In 5 games with the Suns Eddie has averaged just over 12 minutes and 5 points per contest.

Game 76 of the season is tomorrow. The Suns will host the Los Angeles Clippers. Tip is scheduled for 7p PT.
