We have to wait at least one more season for the Phoenix Suns to return for the playoffs for the first time since 2010. Probably just one more season, right? Probably. Definitely just one more season. Maybe.
With no postseason play for the seventh consecutive year we’re left with the players’ assessments of how this season went. Devin Booker spoke with Lindsey Smith this week and said “the future is bright.”

Watch it. Book praises the work his young teammates have put in which is what any grizzled NBA veteran should do. He also talks about how he enjoys playing on the road and likes “proving somebody wrong.” Ask Boston Celtics foward Jae Crowder, he knows what Booker is talking about.
It’s time to take a significant step forward for the Suns. What moves do they need to make this offseason to get markedly better when the 2017-18 campaign gets underway?
