Fear not, Phoenix faithful. We’re just eight weeks away from the return of Suns basketball.
24 teams (including those with 8 of the top 10 picks in the 2017 #NBADraft) will play in #NBASummer League 2017 https://t.co/uJOjrmFFcH pic.twitter.com/y29uq0QKAq

The 2017 Las Vegas NBA Summer League will feature the largest field in the offseason exhibition’s 13-year history. 24 teams are scheduled to compete from July 7-17 at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion.
Starting on July 7th, teams will participate in three games before tournament play begins. Every team is guaranteed to play in at least five games. The event will culminate with a championship game on July 17th.
Every team not named the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers that made the 2017 NBA Playoffs will be in Vegas. Of course you’re probably not going there to see playoff teams, you’re going there to see lottery teams. Eight of the top ten picks in next month’s NBA Draft will showcase their talents in Nevada.
Last year’s event broke NBA Summer League records for total attendance, single-day attendance, and viewership.
Game and television schedules haven’t been released yet. Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 22nd.
Historically the Suns do well at the Las Vegas Summer League. Their all-time record is 35-29, fifth best all-time.
It’s a fun event, if you have the means you should go. I have no reason to sell it to you. But if you find me I will absolutely let you buy me a beer. Tyler Ulis did this last year:
We get the Summer Suns in two months. Plan accordingly.
