While Phoenix Suns general manager Ryan McDonough mulls what he will do with the #4 overall pick in next month’s NBA Draft, Magic Johnson is making some noise by declaring he’s ready to negotiate. At least with the players already on the Los Angeles roster.
Thursday in a radio interview with ESPN Los Angeles, the Lakers president of basketball operations identified just one player that he’s not prepared to deal.

"I would say probably the only player that we would say, hey, we would probably not move is Brandon Ingram.”
“I think that we're excited about Brandon, his length, his size, his agility, his athleticism. And then when you think about, you know, he was a baby coming in, in his first year last season and we see that he really has a high ceiling and we're excited about what he can possibly turn into."
Could the Lakers strike a deal ahead of selecting second overall in June’s draft? How might that impact what the Suns will do at #4? Will McDonough give a similarly candid interview so I can stop shoehorning Lakers news into a Suns narrative? There are a lot of questions to be answered. Stay tuned.
