Bright Side Community Mock Draft: Today’s the Day!

Bright Side readers take on the role of general managers in this two-round mock draft.

NBA: NBA Draft Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

It’s finally time! After introducing it almost three weeks ago, it’s finally time to get rolling as general managers around the NBA.

For a quick recap, here’s the rules and the trades that occurred prior to draft day.

  1. 2017-18 Salary Cap ($102 Million projected) will be used to determine validity of trades
  2. CBA Rules apply (see: Larry Coon's NBAFAQ)
  3. Can only trade future picks up to 2022. Pick swaps are allowed.
  4. No buying picks.
  5. If you have to drop a Non-Guaranteed player or cap hold to make a trade, please select the player you wish to drop in agreed trade post.
  6. You can't trade free agents.
  7. You don't have to include a pick from this draft or any draft, I'm willing to let you guys just trade player for player or just cap space.
  8. Rec official trades in the comments section so it's easy to maneuver through and make them official
  9. I reserve the right to deny trades if it's deemed unfair or completely unrealistic
