Phoenix Suns announce Las Vegas NBA Summer League Schedule

The Summer Suns will be in action again soon.

It’s almost time for the Las Vegas Summer League again!

The games begin on Friday July 7 and will run through July 17. The Suns will start off their summer league season against the Sacramento Kings at 7:30 pm (PT) on opening day and the game will televised on ESPN2. The Suns will next play the Dallas Mavericks on the 9th at 1:30 pm (on ESPN) and then against the Houston Rockets on the 10th at 3:30 pm (on NBA TV). They will play at least two more games as part of the tournament-style schedule.

A record 24 teams will be in Vegas this year and there will be a lot of TV coverage. Last year the Summer Suns made it to the semifinals before falling to the Summer Timberwolves (who lost in the finals to the Summer Bulls). The year before they made it all the way to finals before losing out to the Summer Spurs. Will this be the year that they go all the way?

I'm looking forward to seeing how this year's team will do. It will be great to be able to watch some more Suns basketball again!

The full schedule of games, dates, times and TV coverage can be found at the official Suns NBA.com website here.
