Jayson Tatum selected #7 on the Phoenix Suns Fans Pick NBA Draft Big Board. Voting for #8 starts now!

The #8 spot is up for grabs.

NCAA Basketball: Duke at Miami Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The #7 spot on our Big Board goes to Jayson Tatum. Once again the voting wasn't even close as Tatum finished about 200 votes up on Malik Monk who finished second in the voting. Personally I think Tatum finished this low more because of doubts about his fit in Phoenix than doubts about his talent. Draft Express has moved him up to the 3rd pick in their mock draft following the news of the Celtics/Sixers draft pick trade (and Josh Jackson down to 4th).

Bright Side Fans Pick NBA Draft Big Board

1. Markelle Fultz

2. Josh Jackson

3. Dennis Smith Jr

4. De'Aaron Fox

5. Jonathan Isaac

6. Lonzo Ball

7. Jayson Tatum

8. ???

As I said, Malik Monk finished 2nd in this past poll with Lauri Markkanen a distant 3rd.

And for today's poll there is what some might consider a surprise addition, Harry Giles. In the most recent Draft Express update Giles continued his rise in the mock draft rankings to #17. There are a lot of question marks surrounding Giles but he was such a hot prospect before his ACL tear in high school that someone is going to take a chance on him, possibly as early as the mid-first round.

Your selections for today are the 7th through 17th ranked players from Draft Express (minus Dennis Smith who is ranked 9th).

Bright Side Fans Pick NBA Draft Big Board Part 2

26. Bam Adebayo

27. Jordan Bell

28. Tony Bradley

29. Ivan Rabb

30. Derrick White

31. Isaiah Hartenstein

32. ???

The selection at #31, Isaiah Hartenstein, is an interesting international prospect. At 7'1.25" in shoes and weighing in at 250 lbs he has an NBA ready frame although he's only 19. He's also very fluid and mobile for a big man who can cover either power forwards or centers on defense. Offensively he's better suited to the center position with some crafty inside moves but he can hit the concessional jump shot from the perimeter. He also shows flashes of being a fairly gifted passer but is a project who lacks consistency in his play. Defensively he also shows flashes of ability using his strength and size inside and moves his feet well when switched off on to smaller players on the perimeter. There is no doubt that he will be a project but he shows enough promise that he might be drafted late in the first round.

And now on to choosing #32... which is of course the Suns 1st second round draft pick.

Alec Peters and Mathias Lessort dropped significantly while D.J. Wilson rose significantly in the new Draft Express update which is why they weren't included in this poll.
