Pay attention, Phoenix Suns fans. Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical shared some big offseason NBA news on Tuesday afternoon sure to impact this week’s NBA Draft.
Lakers are trading Tim Mozgov and D'Angelo Russell to Nets for Brook Lopez and 27th pick Thursday, sources say.

That’s right. Our Pacific Division cellar-mates kicked off the draft week madness by giving up on 2015 #2 overall pick D’Angelo Russell after 143 games in a Lakers uniform. Woj reports that this is likely part of Magic Johnson’s master plan to court one more more blockbuster free agents. Additionally, Russell’s departure increases the likelihood that Los Angeles will use the #2 pick in the draft to select UCLA product Lonzo Ball.
For the Lakers, this is longer-term play to clear space for Paul George and LeBron James pursuit. Lonzo Ball on way at No.2 https://t.co/KxfdEuAUO0

Damn. Just when you convinced yourself you could stomach Big Baller Brand invading Phoenix.
It’s time to reevaluate. What should Phoenix do at #4? Should the Suns find a trade partner? Does this end with everybody else doing something and PHX doing nothing? Might be time for McDonough to make a splash.
The 2017 NBA Draft will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, soon to be known has the “House That D’Angelo Built.” The festivities get underway at 7pm ET.
