Draft grades roundup: What others are saying (it’s good!) about the Phoenix Suns draft

NBA: Draft Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

No matter what anyone thinks of the Phoenix Suns selections in the second round of the draft, the pick of the Kansas JayhawksJosh Jackson at #4 overall guarantees the Suns a perfect grade.

The addition of Miami’s Davon Reed and Valparaiso’s Alec Peters in the second round even got some good reviews after people had a chance to think about it a bit.

Let’s see what the internets think.

Sports Illustrated (SI.com) — Andrew Sharp

SI.com graded the Suns draft as one of the best of the night.

Yahoo!Sports - Jordan Schultz

Obviously, A+ is the highest grade you can give a team. He even likes the Davon Reed pick!

The Ringer - Jonathan Tjarks

And we get A/A mark from theringer.com, who only gave double-As to two of the top five picks.

SBNation - Ricky O’Donnell

Our friends/owners/masters at SBNation.com were kind enough to get the Suns an A grade for the draft as well.

16 Wins a Ring - Taylor Bartle

This is a great recap of the Suns draft right here, with indepth analysis of each pick. Jackson of course gets a A, while Davon Reed gets a B while Alec Peters got a B+.

I’m got some snippets here, but the whole article is worth the read.
