One storyline to watch is how Marquese Chriss and Dragan Bender will fare against the Rockets’ duo of Zhou Qi and Cameron Oliver. It should heavily favor toward Phoenix, but, Houston’s run-and-gun attack led by Troy Williams, has given opposing defenses woes thus far.
From a Phoenix perspective, this is a game where Josh Jackson should able to show more of his defensive prowess alongside more moves out of his offensive repertoire. So far, Jackson has had success taking it full court all the way to the rim off the rebound. I’m expecting to see more slashing and setting up his offense early in this one.
This is the final game before the quarterfinals start in Las Vegas, so this could be the final time we see players such as Chriss and Bender on the floor. Many teams begin to rest their priority prospects once they have seen enough game action.
