Chill out, Suns fans. Marquese Chriss is going to be ok.
Last week the second-year Phoenix forward suffered an ankle injury at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. That had many Suns fans concerned #TheTimeline would be littered with another obstacle. Rest easy. The Phoenix rise to the top of the Western Conference can continue unimpeded.

Chriss suffered your standard issue, run of the mill ankle sprain. We don’t have to commit to tanking another season just yet.
Suns assistant general manager Pat Connelly did say that the injury initially was cause for concern.
“It looked a lot worse than it was,” Connelly said. “He doesn’t have to do anything more than the normal treatment and rehabilitation process.”
That means no crutches and no boot. I wouldn’t go kicking in doors like Sheriff Seth Bullock, but it sounds like Chriss will be ready to go when training camp gets underway in September.
#TheTimeline rolls on.
