Suns legend Steve Nash slams Donald Trump

Nash won back to back MVP Awards in Phoenix.

Steve Nash was a two-time MVP for the Phoenix Suns. Steve Nash also played for the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers in his nearly 20-year career. Since retirement Steve Nash has worked as a consultant for the Golden State Warriors. Steve Nash has opinions on Donald Trump.

On Tuesday President Trump addressed the events in Charlottesville, Virginia this weekend involving white supremacists and counter-protestors. One person died. Many people have been dissatisfied with the manner in which Trump addressed the events. Some have stated he is defending white supremacists. Steve Nash is in that group.

In the above tweet Nash is referring to Trump’s winery. The president was asked Tuesday if he would be visiting Charlottesville.

Heather Heyer is the woman we lost on Saturday. She was among the counter-protestors. She worked in Charlottesville as a paralegal. Following her death vigils were held around the nation in her honor.

Heyer was 27-years old.
