Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook releases NBA win totals

Sounds like they think the Suns are going to fall just short of the postseason.

Gambling is the only real reason to stay invested in sports year-round. Today was a big day for gambling. Today the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook gave us projected season win totals.

I’ll save you the work. Your Suns are tied with the Sacramento Kings and Brooklyn Nets at third from the bottom with a projected win total of 28.5. Atlanta is second worst at 25.5. Chicago is in the cellar at 21.5.

Vegas is higher on the Suns this year than they were last summer. In 2016 Westgate tagged Phoenix with 26.5 wins. If you took the under, you were a winner. The Suns finished the season with a 24-58 mark. Sometimes 13-game losing streaks can be pretty fulfilling.

What do you think about this number? Take the under and you think we’re headed towards another bottom five season in franchise history. But that of course is why the hashtag #TheTimeline was created. It is a coping mechanism.

Keith says put 100 mini pretzels on the over. It’s an easier way to live. Be glass half full guy for once. Rooting for your favorite team to lose grows exhausting. Thank god for sportsbooks.

The Suns open the 2017-18 regular season October 18th at home against the Portland Trail Blazers.
