Sights and Sounds from Suns Media Day 2017

The Phoenix Suns kicked off their season with a fest for the media... and the fans by extension.

NBA: Phoenix Suns-Media Day Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The Phoenix Suns opened the new season with a two-hour media fest - one of those interview-and-interview sessions that vainly attempts to make up for lost time of a four-month break from this kind of thing.

I’m sure you would love to see what happened, and that’s available on suns.com in every detail.

But in case you want to watch an individual interview or two, here you go.

GM Ryan McDonough

Talks about low expectations, how much they will miss Alan Williams, and how excited they are about rookie Josh Jackson, among other topics.

Eric Bledsoe

Here is Bledsoe talking about how much he hated missing the last 25 games last year, and how he wants to share the playmaking duties with Devin Booker this year, among other topics.

Devin Booker

The Suns future at shooting guards spends 10+ minutes talking on a lot of topics, including who surprised him the most in pickup games this fall, how he expects to improve this season, and what leadership means.

Tyler Ulis

We caught up with the Little General (sorry, Avery Bradley but we don’t have a good one for Ulis yet). He talked about his health, and how he plans to hold up this season despite being the smallest person in the league.

Marquese Chriss

Chriss talks about how much he plans to play the center position vs. the power forward position this season, how he will improve his rebounding rate in his second season and how he plans to reduce his league-leading technical foul count (matching the reporter, FYI). Among other topics.

Derrick Jones Jr.

What else will ‘Airplane Mode’ add to his repertoire this year?

There you go!

Let’s get on with the season already!!
