Open Thread: Suns (16-26) vs. Rockets (29-11) in a national TV tilt

NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder at Phoenix Suns Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

What: Phoenix Suns host Houston Rockets

When: 8:30 pm AZ time

Where: Talking Stick Resort Arena

Watch: ESPN/Fox Sports Arizona

Listen: 98.7 FM

The last time Houston and Phoenix met, it wasn’t pretty. Right off the bat, Houston ran the Suns out of their own building, including a 90-67 lead at halftime.

That game also featured Chris Paul’s return from injury, with James Harden out of this one continuing to rob us hoops fans of some beautiful basketball when they’re together.

One interesting note to follow: With both teams facing health problems, expect a lot of extra minutes for the likes of Devin Booker, T.J. Warren, Dragan Bender, Chris Paul, and Clint Capela. I expect all to be near 40 minutes with their lack of depth in each spot, so fouls will end up being a deciding factor.

Will the Suns pull off the upset on ESPN, led by a Booker All-Star breakout?
