The Phoenix Suns announced Monday that first-year guard Davon Reed has been assigned to the team’s G League affiliate, the Northern Arizona Suns.

The roller coaster of a rookie campaign rolls on for Reed, who was just called up to the big club a week ago. He appeared in his first NBA game last Thursday, logging five minutes, zero points, and a rebound in a 120-97 loss to the Indiana Pacers.

Phoenix selected Reed 32nd overall in last summer’s NBA Draft. The Miami of Florida product did not see the court in 2017 thanks to surgery on his left meniscus. His first professional action came with NAZ on January 2nd. January 6th he was called up to Phoenix. January 8th he returned to Northern Arizona. January 12th he returned to Phoenix. The Pacers game was two days later. Now you’re caught up.

Reed is sure to get plenty of run in Prescott Valley. If you’re interested in checking him out, and why wouldn’t you be, tune in when the NAZ Suns host the Oklahoma City Blue in Prescott Valley on Tuesday. The game is at 11, yes that’s 11a MT, and it will be shown on something called Twitch. Enjoy.
