This isn’t good, Isaiah Canaan suffered what appeared to be a broken ankle. As he was going up for a rebound late in the first quarter, Canaan’s foot went the opposite direction, resulting in an ugly scene as Phoenix’s bench jumped in horror.
The bone was also protruding out of Canaan’s skin. He was stretchered off right afterward.
Isaiah Canaan is down and his left ankle is pointing in a direction it shouldn’t. Bone came out. Suns team in shock

With Canaan now likely out for the season, Phoenix will once again need to hit the open market or pursue a trade to find depth at point guard. Whoever they get will be the sixth player to run the point for the Suns so far.
Prayers up to Canaan for a speedy recovery.
