Peter Piper Pizza restaurant in Tuscon, Arizona was the site of much sadness on Sunday afternoon.

That’s where 6-year-old Teddy invited 32 of his classmates to celebrate his birthday. That’s where exactly 0 of those 32 showed up.

It’s heartbreaking isn’t it? But worry not, friends. Sunday’s sadness turned into Monday’s gladness thanks to your Phoenix Suns.

Yes, indeed. Teddy will be in house when the Suns host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. But the goodwill doesn’t stop there.

Phoenix Rising FC of the United Soccer League has invited Teddy to its playoff game on Friday against the Swope Park Rangers.

A representative for the team told abc15 Arizona that fans have reached out in an effort to purchase a customized jersey for Teddy.

Birthdays happen every year. Playoff games in the state of Arizona? That is a much rarer occurrence. You’ll understand when you’re older.
