Locked On Suns Thursday: We just saw the best performance of the season for the Suns

Against all odds, Phoenix nearly beat Boston on Thursday night at home. A late-game comeback shouldn’t hide the fact the Suns made legitimate progress.

On today’s episode, we break down what went right to give the Suns a 22-point lead over the Celtics at home. While Phoenix ended up losing, 116-109, it was a game the Suns can build from as they go on the road this month.

We discuss everything from the Celtics’ wildly cold shooting night, T.J. Warren’s scoring explosion, the Suns’ starters heavy minutes load and of course Kyrie Irving’s clutch onslaught to close out the comeback for Boston.
