Open Thread: Phoenix Suns (4-19) vs. Sacramento Kings (11-11)

Without Devin Booker and T.J. Warren, where do the Suns go from here against these resurgent Kings?

NBA: Phoenix Suns at Los Angeles Lakers Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

Probable starters:

Suns - Elie Okobo, Mikal Bridges, Josh Jackson, Trevor Ariza, Deandre Ayton

Kings - De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Iman Shumpert, Nemanja Bjelica, Willie Cauley-Stein

  • Expect plenty of touches for Ayton with no Devin Booker and T.J. Warren. The question is whether Ayton will capitalize on it and be more aggressive.
  • Will Josh Jackson continue to chuck up shots, or will he continue his improved as of late without additional midrange step back jumpers?
  • Okobo can get wherever he wants on the floor, but he needs to be able to provide some scoring punch over the next few weeks. Heavy workload incoming for Okobo, I imagine, unless they make a trade for a point guard later this month.

Bright Side readers, make sure to chat in the comments section throughout tonight’s game. Will the Suns snap their current five game skid? Let’s find out.
