Deandre Ayton’s NBA2K19 rating updated, surpasses other notable rookie

I own a hacked and modded Nintendo Wii that allows me to run an emulator and play all the NBA Jam I want. And I play a lot of NBA Jam.

But for those who can’t get on my level, there exists a series of video games referred to as “NBA 2K.” The graphics are better. There’s a lot of buttons. Current rosters are utilized.

And the game is kind enough to use internet magic to update player ratings throughout the season. They don’t update the ratings in NBA Jam. The people in charge of such things for NBA2K19 have decided that Deandre Ayton of your Phoenix Suns needs a new number.

Ayton is now an 83 overall, a two point bump. This is on a scale that tops out at 100. Here’s the full list of updated ratings:
