Reaction from Suns’ double-digit victory over the Mavericks

Jay Triano and Marquese Chriss give their thoughts on Phoenix bouncing back into the win column in primetime.

On Wednesday night, the Suns had their most dominant performance of the season from beginning to end. Dallas never saw a lead go their way, as Phoenix at one point led by 22 points in the third quarter.

The Suns saw Josh Jackson, T.J. Warren, and Marquese Chriss all put together great performances, allowing Booker to almost be a decoy offensively as he obviously still wasn’t 100% from the rib contusion he suffered Sunday in Houston.

However, this win was overshadowed by the loss of Isaiah Canaan to a fractured left ankle. It was gruesome, and now it leaves Phoenix with just Tyler Ulis as the only point guard available.

Whether it’s calling up somebody like Josh Gray from the NAZ Suns, signing a free agent or trading for one, a point guard will need to be added for depth purposes.

Below, interim head coach Jay Triano and Chriss reacted to their 102-88 victory alongside other thoughts.
