— Phoenix Suns (@Suns) February 12, 2018
Gray’s NBA debut came February 2nd during the Suns’ nail-biting loss to the Utah Jazz. He now has four games on his resume, and is averaging 6.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in those contests. He has eight steals in his first four games, making him the first Sun to post those numbers since Richard Dumas in 1993. If you don’t know who Richard Dumas is, don’t look him up and let that statistic be the only thing you know about him.
Gray is the sixth call up in Northern Arizona Suns history. This season with NAZ he’s averaging 17.9 points and has topped 30 points on four occasions.
He’s 24. He’s an LSU, Texas Tech, Odessa College product. He has the only triple-double in NAZ Suns history. And he’s out-playing Tyler Ulis. He’ll be with us at least until George Washington’s birthday. Better read up on Josh Gray.
