The University of Tulsa product is in his second season with the Northern Arizona Suns since going undrafted in 2016. Last season he appeared in 48 games, starting 17, and averaged 9.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in 27 minutes.
This year his improved play coupled with a worse Phoenix Suns team means he gets his NBA opportunity. He’s now playing 30 minutes a game in Prescott Valley and his numbers have improved across the board. He’s scoring 11 points a game to go with 4.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
Out is Josh Gray. He can put 5 NBA games on his resume. In just over 17 minutes per game he averaged 6.4 points a couple of rebounds and a couple of assists at point guard.
The Suns All-Star break comes to a close Friday when the team hosts the Los Angeles Clippers. Tip is scheduled for 6p PT.
