The Golden State Warriors will be without guards Steph Curry and Klay Thompson on Saturday when the team faces the Suns in Phoenix. If you’re unfamiliar with these two players, they are responsible for a significant portion of the Warriors offense.

Curry has missed the last two games, both losses, against Portland and Minnesota. By the time he is re-evaluated on March 20th, he’ll have missed six straight, thanks to a bum right ankle.
Thompson suffered a fractured right thumb in the loss to the Timberwolves. So far this season, he’s only missed one game. That will turn into five before the thumb is looked at on March 22nd.
The last meeting between the Suns and Warriors ended with a 129-83 Golden State victory. The game got out of hand enough that Steve Kerr passed off coaching duties to Draymond Green and took the rest of the night off. It is uncertain if Curry or Thompson will be tasked with leading the team from the sidelines while they’re not in uniform.
Some of the Warriors versus what we’re calling the Suns are scheduled for a 7p PT tip from Talking Stick Resort Arena on Saturday.
