When will your Phoenix Suns return to the NBA postseason? We’re eight years removed from the last time we saw our team in the playoffs, and veteran forward Jared Dudley thinks with DeAndre Ayton in the Phoenix frontcourt, the wait will soon be over.
That’s what he told TMZ on Rodeo Drive this week, catching himself from locking in a guarantee.
“We’re going to be in the playoffs within two—it’s only a matter of time. With every number one pick it just takes awhile. Give him time, a couple years, we’ll be right back.”
In other news that is sure to shock no one, Dudley does not seem to think that next stop in LeBron James’ career will be in Phoenix.
“Zero percent chance. Bron’s not coming to Phoenix.”
“Cleveland or L.A.”
The Suns veteran also weighed in about whether he thinks Booker and Ayton can deliver on the rookie’s plan of the pair becoming Shaq and Kobe 2.0.
