Last week, for the second time in his career, Jared Dudley was traded from the Phoenix Suns.
Throughout his career Dudley has never had a problem speaking his mind. After the news broke on Friday, he tweeted out exactly what Suns fans wanted to hear.
I First off want to thank Robert Sarver and the Suns organization. It’s truly been the best 7 years of my life. There’s been no better feeling then being a Sun! To all the Fans that opened me with open arms and embracing me I truly love you guys and the city. Phx is home!

When fans learned that Dudley’s time with the Suns had come to an end (before he returns as a coach or member of the media, of course) many took to social media to share kind words.
As a Suns fan first and foremost thanks for representing the city where I’m from Phoenix will always have love for you big bro!✊ https://t.co/rP9fAPJkUH

While working in the NBA I met a lot of player. Very very few were as truly genuine as @JaredDudley619. Good player even better guy. The city of Phoenix is a little worse off without him now.

@JaredDudley619 doesn't need to hear this because I told him privately but so you know: As a beat reporter I appreciated all the times he was available last season and the honesty with which he spoke. As a reporter, you can't ask for much more

Looking forward to the Junkyard Dog being back in Phoenix, in some capacity, when the Suns win the first championship in franchise history. See you then.
