Why the 2018-19 Season Will be Devin Booker’s Best Season.

In his 3rd season in the NBA, Devin Booker was criminally underrated. Booker’s junior season is often looked at as lackluster and unimpressive. The shooting guard played a career-low 54 games last year. However, In the 2017-18 season, Booker averaged a career-high 24.9 points per game. With Booker fully healthy in 2018, The NBA should be terrified of Booker is capable of.


Recently team USA has joined up to practice in Las Vegas. Team USA features some of the best basketball players in the world, such as Kevin Durant, Paul George, John Wall, and many others. Out of all these players, Devin Booker is the one that has stood out the most.


A recent BallIsLife video showed a 1 on 1 drill that Devin Booker participated in. In this drill, Booker showcased his versatility. At times in this drill Booker was methodical in picking his next move, and at other times Booker was quick and unforgiving. Both strategies were effective for the 6’6 guard as Booker was able to score on many of the NBA’s most highly regarded defenders.

It is clear that Devin Booker has put in the necessary work to bring his game up to the next level. Booker’s 4th season in the NBA could be the year that he competes for an MVP.
