Locked On Suns Tuesday: Start Kelly Oubre Jr.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, they say. Well, despite success last week for the Suns without Devin Booker, the same problem starting games reared its head again against the Pacers.

It’s time. In a 34-point loss on the road in Indiana, swingman Kelly Oubre Jr. was somehow a plus-1 in the box score. The Suns’ most consistent player the past two weeks needs to take up his rightful place in the starting unit.

We hit on Oubre Jr.’s consistency and fit in coach Igor Kokoskov’s offense, Devin Booker’s foul trouble and poor scoring night, the defense and more.

Plus, why nights like this are further evidence the Suns need a better two-way player in T.J. Warren’s spot in the starting lineup.
