For the first time ever, the NBA allowed players during the first week of the 2018-19 season to customize their footwear. The gimmick is back in 2019-20, and Mikal Bridges is among 23 Nike athletes taking part in the customization this year.
According to Sole Collector, Bridges will be wearing the KD12 shoe this week. The customization will feature yellow and purple coloration highlighting the white sneaker, as well as the initials “TR” on the tongue. The letters stand for Bridges’ mother’s name, Tyneeha Rivers.
