Anyone who says they saw these first 14 games coming for the Suns is lying straight to your face. The Las Vegas over/under was 29.5 wins, and the Suns are currently on pace for 41. They have beaten the Clippers and 76ers and been competitive against top West teams like the Nuggets, Jazz and Lakers.

They’re a legitimately good basketball team.

General NBA fans seem to agree. Or, at the very least, they’ve been convinced not to underestimate the Suns any longer. They can admit they were wrong about the young Suns.

In this week’s FanPulse results, NBA fans voted overwhelmingly for the Suns as the most surprising team in the NBA, beating out the top team in the standings, the Celtics, as well as fellow Western Conference standout Minnesota.

As usual, every Suns fan who voted is still confident in the direction the franchise is moving. Though they suffered three losses this week, the Suns also unveiled arena renovations and maintained competitiveness in every game.
